According to Deadline, Morissette said in the documentary Jagged released on September 13: "It took me years of psychological treatment to admit that I was the victim. I always wondered if I agreed with their actions. Then I was reminded that when I was 15 years old, there was no way I consented to a relationship. Now I understand that they are all pedophiles. All of that is rape and illegal. law". Canadian law sets the age for sexual intercourse to be 16 or older.
