On September 14, Canon "unveiled" the EOS R3 camera with extremely intelligent eye autofocus.

The newly launched Canon EOS R3 is considered the most advanced model in the company's EOS R line of mirrorless cameras. The EOS R3 bridges the gap between the EOS R5, the former professional mirrorless camera, and the EOS-1D X Mark III, the flagship DSLR model.
Inside, the Canon EOS R3 has a 24.1-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor designed and manufactured by Canon. Coupled with the DIGIC X processor, the EOS R3 is capable of 30 fps continuous shooting with the electronic shutter and 12 fps with the mechanical shutter. Additionally, the sensor also extends the sensitivity range to ISO 100-102400, which can be further extended to 204,800.
Like the EOS R5 and R6, the EOS R3 also features Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with 1053 AF points, and the EOS iTR tracks up to EV -7.5 for eyes, faces, heads, animals, and some cars and motorbikes. The EOS R3 also uses Deep Learning to further enhance eye and body detection.

But perhaps the coolest feature is the use of eye tracking. The EOS R3 utilizes a 5.76-million-dot 120 fps EVF that tracks the photographer's gaze to decide where to focus. The camera will sense where the photographer is looking and will then initiate autofocus on that position using Eye Input AF and Servo AF - Servo AF. Face Detect + Tracking can also track moving subjects throughout the entire frame.The EOS R3 is also capable of recording video at 6K 60p in RAW as well as 4K 120p 10-bit. The camera can also perform 4K video capture scaled from 6K images as well as internal RAW video recording. The device also supports DCI-P3 and BT.2020 color gamuts. And yet, the 5-axis IBIS structure also helps to reduce camera shake significantly. Canon EOS R3 is quite durable. The Canon EOS R3 features a magnesium alloy body, which is weather and dust resistant to the same level as the high-end EOS-1D DSLR body. The camera also has a built-in LAN, which supports connectivity with 5GHz Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth. In addition, the device can accept CFexpress cards and UHS-II SD cards at the same time. This device supports 2 cards at the same time. Canon EOS R3 costs up to 5999 USD (equivalent to 136.5 million VND) and will be available from November. Canon also launched two new RF lenses, RF16mm F2.8 STM for 300 USD (approx. VND 6.82 million) and RF100–400mm F5.6–8 IS USM for $650 (about VND 14.79 million). This is considered a very good and expensive option this year for professional photographers.
