The official versions of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 support updates from iPhone 6s onwards.

Although not announced any details at today's iPhone 13 launch event, however, Apple has announced the official release date as well as supported devices to update to iOS 15. Maybe, the official version of iOS 15 and iPadOS 15 will be released by Apple on September 20 to all users.

The list of devices that support updating to the new iOS version includes:

- iPhone 6s and 6s Plus

- iPhone SE (2016)

- iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

- iPhone 8 and 8 Plus

- iPhone X

- iPhone XS and XS Max

- iPhone XR

- iPhone 11

- iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max

- iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12

- iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max

- iPhone SE (2020)

- iPod touch (7th gen)

The list above includes all devices that can be updated to iOS 14, including iPhone models that are 6 years old like the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus that are also updated to the latest iOS 15.

With iOS 15, Apple brings a lot of new features including SharePlay for FaceTime, a few changes in the interface, improved do not disturb feature, handwriting recognition from images, a new Safari browser interface or redesigned weather app...
