The MTV EMAs 2021 awards ceremony ended at dawn today (November 15) Vietnam time.
The MTV Europe Music Awards 2021 (MTV EMAs) has just ended at dawn on November 15 (Vietnam time). This year's event, held live in Budapest, Hungary, marks the first time this European country has hosted the MTV EMAs.

This year, the theme of the MTV EMAs is Music For ALL with a message towards the LGBTQ+ community, which is a very meaningful message in a country where LGBTQ+ discrimination is quite heavy in Europe like the host country Hungary.
Ed Sheeran won the two most important categories of the night: Best Artist and Best Song for the hit Bad Habits. Lil Nas X brought home the win in the category of Best Video (Best Video) with the unique MV Montero (Call Me By Your Name).
The hit song "Kiss Me More" by Doja Cat and SZA brought the duo the winner in the category of Best Collaboration. Saweetie also became the "rookie" of the year at the 2021 MTV EMAs when winning the Best New category. Your Power by Billie Eilish won the Video For Good category.
Aespa also excellently brought home the first MTV EMAs trophy in the category of Best Korean Act (Best Regional Artist in Korea). Best Korean Act is in the sub-categories dedicated to global artists, as distinguished from BTS's Best Kpop which is in the main categories of the MTV EMAs.
In the category of Best South East Asian Act (Best Regional Artist in Southeast Asia), producer K-ICM representing Vietnam was unlucky to fail, the winner of this category belonged to the representative of Singapore. - JJ Lin.
Previously, when the MTV EMAs announced the nominations, Justin Bieber was the leading artist with a total of 8 nominations spread across all categories big and small. I thought he could at least bring home 1-2 trophies but he didn't! Justin Bieber is the most "domestic" name at the 2021 MTV EMAs when he missed 8/8 of his nominations.
